How do Point of Sale Rebates impact organized labor?

Point of Sale Rebates are exclusively provided at the counter for brand drugs, excluding generics. Consequently, only a select few individuals will benefit from these rebates. However, it is important to note that the traditional rebate system offers advantages to all plan participants by distributing the benefits across the entire group. This approach ensures fairness and equality among members but also saves money for the plan.

Point of Sale Rebates are not the Union way.  It will increase costs for the plan and only benefit a few members.  The Union's approach is to ensure that all members benefit equally from rebates. This means that everyone shares the savings generated by rebates.
